Party: Bread & Butter presents Italoboyz at Basing House

Since arriving in London at the beginning of the new millennium, Italoboyz (aka Marco Donato and Federico Marton) have become an essential fixture of the capital’s small but passionate minimal scene. From their notorious back-to-back DJ sets at FESH (333, London), their reputation has grown to the point where they can now be found playing regularly across Europe and the rest of the UK. However, it’s not just the energy and flair of their DJ sets that has captured the imagination, Italoboyz releases on some of today’s most influential minimal-house / techno labels like Get Physical, Moon Harbour,Treibstoff, Einmaleins Musik and Safari Electronique.

Although their sound has always been characterized by organic elements along with large doses of funk and energy, the distinctive flavour of their productions and DJ sets is down to a willingness to embrace and explore the various genres and sub-genres that develop out of this constantly evolving music. One of the reasons Italoboyz productions are so well received is the fact that their musical expression is a fusion of sounds, themes and ideas resulting from over 15 years DJing experience. Their aim is to deliver the most modern, cutting edge sound possible but it should still resonate through time, both past and future, in order to make the immediate experience all the more seductive.

Needless to say, their own parties have built up quite a following, often running all day long from Sunday afternoon till early Monday morning. It’s an experience that has given them valuable knowledge and insight into the difference between playing in a ‘peak time’ club environment and a more laid back ‘after hour’ situation where the emphasis is on creating sonic landscapes that morph from easy-listening, atmospheric sounds to more dance orientated grooves.

Then onto their own productions and releases on mightily impressive Get Physical label (along side stable mates M.A.N.D.Y., BOOKA SHADE, MODESELEkTOR) and Claude Van Strokes imprint Mothership. With tracks such as Bla Bla Bla and Victor Casanova, tons of remixes and bookings world wide they have firmly established themselves on the global dance music stage.

Although the Italoboyz might not play Italodisco, but with their dj sets blending house, minimal and wacky attitude, they sure know how to rock a club.

Party: Blaue Nacht Launch Party wirh Blind Minded

Bread & Butter is proud to start a series of new events called “BLAUE NACTH’ at Russian bar in the heart of Shoreditch.

The mission of BLAUE NACTH will be to explore new musical trends in electronic music and more experimental genres
with a particular attention to the techno underground movement.

For this first appointment, we aim to keep our tradition in term of quality line-up.
The internationally renowned BLIND MINDED will perform their unique signature sounds to an appreciative crowd along with Bread and Butter djs resident.

Giorgio Cadamuro a.k.a. Blind Minded is a new exiting upcoming producers of the techno music scene. Signed on Trapez, where he is about to unleash his third release in less than a year, he has already captured the attention of many big names in the scene, all notably coming from different music styles. This is due to his quirky and eclectic music taste
that characterizes his sound.                                                                                                         An hidden drum & bass soul, has transformed into techno in the years, and from his infamous illegal parties in the early 2000, now he is one of the hottest names in London, and it’s not coincidence that he play as resident dj for London’s craziest and acclaimed party LOKEE alongside some other uber-cool parties around, like Wilde Renate in Berlin.

Reviewers describe his music as “the return of what used to be of the Detroit sound, blended with modern spontaneous changes in mood and crossovers which will put a smile on your face.”
His sets are hi-energy and rich in melodies, the range goes from early techno to contemporary house. After just few minutes of his music, you can always feel his background in the details that he maniacally exposes during his performances; capturing people’s interest musically and visually (You won’t see many people playing the Theremin live these days!)

Giorgio is not a kid playing with softwares, he is a true producer that has only recently landed into the techno music scene. And people are already showing interest from the very
beginning .
